For Good Athletics is built on a simple idea: show up, move your body, and do good in the world.
Each 12-week season, we’re selecting 5 people to become official For Good Athletics Athletes. This is the team. These athletes help set the tone, show up consistently, and bring more people into the movement.
From that group, we will also select one For Good Athlete of the Season.
We are selecting 5 athletes
This is a limited group on purpose. We want people who are serious about showing up, building community, and being a part of something bigger than themselves.
Requirements (easy, but real)
To be considered, you must:
-
Have an event lined up within the next 12 weeks (race, competition, adventure, anything you are training toward)
-
Have attended at least 1 previous For Good Athletics event
-
Post and tag For Good Athletics every time you come to an event
-
Post and tag For Good Athletics when you wear the merch or train/work out
-
Write a short bio we can post, plus why you are perfect for the role
-
Help bring more people in. This is a community, not a solo mission
What you get as a For Good Athletics Athlete
If selected as one of the 5 For Good Athletics Athletes:
-
Your donation is automatically covered by us when you attend For Good Athletics events
-
Automatic entry into the raffles and giveaways we do throughout the season
-
Featured on our page as an official athlete
If you choose to donate extra, that is because you want to. We expect our athletes to care about the cause and lead by example, not because they have to, but because that is who they are.
For Good Athlete of the Season
At the end of the season, we will select one For Good Athlete of the Season from the athlete group. This athlete will be highlighted as the face of the season and will receive the full support package:
-
Free merch
-
Running and training gear
-
A team that is here whenever you need it
Rolling acceptance and timing
We are doing rolling acceptance into the next drop. The next drop is June 6, which hits at the perfect time as we head into summer training and the build toward the Columbus Marathon, about 20 weeks out.
How to apply
Send us:
-
Your bio (4–8 sentences)
-
A photo of you
-
Your event in the next 12 weeks (what it is and the date)
-
Why you are perfect for this role
-
One sentence on what doing good means to you
Spots are limited to 5. If you want it, go earn it.
